For many years Norsota members would volunteer a weekend and work at Vesterheim Museum in Dacorah, Iowa. Each year a t-shirt was made to wear while we worked. Then, we added the year to the back of each shirt so some members have many t-shirts used while we worked over the years.
One year one of our members who is a graphic designer created this design with Norway juxtaposed with the eastern border of Minnesota. People LOVED the design so we decided to take our work weekend information off the t-shirts and sell them as a fundraiser. With the money gained from our t-shirts we support our young children with culture camp scholarships.
